Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-class customer service to customers on the phone and in-store, engaging them, scheduling appointments, and selling parts and services that meet their needs.
  • Organize and prioritize work orders and register transactions to ensure efficient service delivery and maximize productivity.
  • Assist with various aspects of customer care, work order and register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase (OP) ordering under the direction of management.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies, and work with management to address customer service issues and opportunities.
  • Conduct and participate in routine express automotive services, including tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and repair, oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, filter and bulb replacement, battery installation, starting and charging system testing, cosmetic car services, and thorough vehicle inspections.
  • Implement and execute safety procedures, ensuring wheel torque and oil/fluid services are performed per standard operating procedure directives.
  • Partner with management to maintain a safe and healthy work environment that complies with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with associates, management, and customers, interpreting and retaining information and applying knowledge appropriately.
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including basic and detailed tasks, in designated locations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
  • One year of sales experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions, with the ability to apply mathematical formulas to calculate commissions and discounts.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.
