Job Title: Director of Workplace

Brame Specialty Co. is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee our furniture category, ensuring efficient, effective, and profitable operations to meet business growth goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team, assigning roles and responsibilities for improving overall efficiencies and driving sales for the furniture segment.
  • Provide leadership, working cross-functional with other departments to execute furniture category strategies.
  • Develop, initiate, and execute plans to meet revenue and profit goals regarding the furniture category.
  • Coordinate with Sales Leadership to develop and execute plans for training sales consultants in furniture knowledge and sales skills.
  • Make recommendations, assist with negotiations, and provide guidance on vendor partnerships and inventory management.
  • Assist in preparing capital budget plans and expense management plans for the department.
  • Provide guidance and direction on sales consultant and customer inquiries related to furniture, space planning, and design.
  • Continually analyze customer requirements and develop product recommendations to drive sales.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • Applicable understanding of P&L, financial statements, and budgets.
  • 5+ years of experience in project-based furniture sales.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, Excel, Planner, PowerPoint, and CET Designer.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

Brame Specialty Co. is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Employees are expected to cross-train and multitask. Willingness and flexibility to travel are required.

Brame uses the EOS Management System. All employees participate in regularly scheduled L10 Meetings to discuss departmental issues and suggest opportunities for improvement. Managers and supervisors have quarterly conversations with direct reports.
