Job Summary:

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead testing efforts, create test plans, and ensure that software meets the highest standards of quality and performance. As a Quality Assurance Specialist at our client, you'll be responsible for developing and executing both manual and automated tests, working closely with developers and product managers to ensure that software is reliable and bug-free.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
  • Perform detailed manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Asana.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand project requirements, identify potential issues, and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure that the software performs well under load, stress, and extreme conditions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Expertise in identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Asana.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
