About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze construction contracts, plans, and specifications to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards.
  • Provide technical oversight and direction to team members, including reviewing and approving shop drawings, computing quantities, and preparing technical reports.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure high-quality construction projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective project management and delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
