Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in the success of our disaster restoration projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects, working closely with our seasoned Project Managers to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales programs to maintain stable revenue levels for residential, commercial, and disaster restoration projects.
  • Work with Project Managers to promote a planned growth rate of sales consistent with the financial and physical capacities of our company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to drive business growth.
  • Represent our company in project meetings and identify new work opportunities with current clients.
  • Lead internal teams focused on continuous improvement of our business.
  • Analyze sales areas for saturation and exploitation, utilizing our residential, commercial, and disaster marketing programs.
  • Evaluate sales personnel's sales techniques and competence, preparing formal evaluations and reviewing them with the individual concerned.
  • Maintain customer activity records for evaluating their volume of business.
  • Work with Project Managers on all instructions and recommendations in writing, maintaining a master file for reference.
  • Identify and delineate areas of responsibility and delegate assignment of large key accounts to specific sales personnel.
  • Remain aware of marketing activities and pricing of competitors, maintaining a continuing program for promoting good customer relations.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies specified in the Employee handbook and DSI safety manual.
Requirements
  • A two-year degree in Business Management or a preferred four-year degree in Business Management.
  • Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to handle a constantly changing environment and maintain professional composure amongst clients.
  • The ability to lift up to 70 pounds and have a mechanical aptitude.
  • A valid State Driver's License, with a preference for the ability to drive a vehicle with a Gross Weight of 10,001 pounds.
  • The ability to pass a DOT physical and follow DOT regulations.
  • Dependability, reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a frequently changing environment.
  • Preferred previous sales management experience.
