Job Title: Commercial HVAC Project Manager

At Temp-Con Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the profitability of our commercial HVAC projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project profitability, timelines, and requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review and analyze job cost, job status, manpower, and change order reports to provide insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with project superintendents, construction managers, general contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate manpower and equipment for each project, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Oversee the buyout process, job-closeouts, and project change orders to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Conduct regular job-site visits and meetings to ensure project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure proper job setup, contract review, estimated costs, and schedule of values are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate project manager reports and attend project management meetings as required.
  • Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and negotiate subcontracts and purchases for each project.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial mechanical experience.
  • 1 year of prior project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge of general HVAC and piping installation.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Good basic computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • General accounting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Climbing off/on equipment and ladders.
  • Able to walk job sites.
Special Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License.

Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000
