Monday - Friday; occasional weekends may be required but are infrequent.
Department Highlights:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or a related field is required.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in Health Care.
- LD - Licensed Dietitian in the State of Texas (6 months required).
- RD - Registered Dietitian upon hire (required).
- Effectively utilizes each step of the Nutrition Care Process to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy to designated patient populations.
- Encourages teamwork and aligns with organizational objectives by demonstrating adaptability in scheduling and shift assignments. Takes initiative to balance workloads and meet deadlines as necessary.
- Ensures safe and effective care through clear communication and efficient workflow practices, including adherence to specific communication and safety strategies.
- Enhances Quality in Practice through systematic outcome measurement, regular performance assessments, and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Maintains professional competence through continuous self-assessment and targeted study to address knowledge and performance gaps.
- Demonstrates proficiency in applying all steps of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) in a clinical environment to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Possesses adequate computer skills to learn and utilize common business and nutrition-related software and electronic health record systems for care planning and documentation.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within trans-professional teams.
- Displays excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
