About the Role

Health Monitor Network is a leading healthcare marketing platform that empowers pharmaceutical and OTC brands to build patient-physician relationships and achieve better outcomes.

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our team and work on a platform currently undergoing a digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Development: Strong database development skills with a solid understanding of stored procedures, views, and triggers.
  • Web Development: Full understanding of the web development life cycles.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills; adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
  • Collaboration: Closely working with other departments to gather and refine specifications and requirements.
  • Time Management: Able to work under tight schedules to meet deadlines while still ensuring a high work quality.
  • Technical Training: Provide advice and technical training to end-users as needed.
  • Software Documentation: Create and maintain software documentation.
  • System Integration: Integrate multiple systems and reconcile the needs of different teams.
  • Technology Trends: Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.
Requirements
  • B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Software Engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of web development experience using PHP, jQuery, MySQL, MS SQL
  • Familiar with Laravel framework, Docker, Amazon AWS EC2, and S3.
  • Knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of business practices

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to walk and reach with hands. Employee frequently uses computer keyboard, regularly travels both short and long distances via walking within the work site. The employee must regularly lift and/or move a laptop computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently. Employee may be asked to travel offsite to field service locations as required.
