Position Summary:
MV Transportation is in search of dedicated
Drivers
who will be tasked with the safe operation of a paratransit vehicle in
ATASCADERO, CALIFORNIA.
The primary goal of the Driver is to ensure safe, dependable, and efficient public transportation services.

Compensation:
$18.50/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Timely passenger pick-up and drop-off.
Conducting thorough pre and post-trip inspections to confirm the vehicle and equipment are in proper working order.
Maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment at the beginning and end of each shift.
Effectively communicating with dispatch or central office using two-way radio.
Delivering exceptional customer service, including assisting passengers with boarding and de-boarding, providing information, and responding appropriately in emergencies.
Utilizing defensive driving techniques to minimize risks.Ensuring a safe work environment and focusing on safety to reduce the potential for injury to oneself or others.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
California Commercial Driver License with Passenger Endorsement.
Current GPPV is highly desirable.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Ability to navigate the service area using maps and knowledge of the area.
Ability to effectively communicate with passengers, their representatives, and system staff.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Strong attendance record.
Adherence to company safety and operational protocols.

Starting Pay Rate - $18.50/hour
During employment, employees may encounter and have access to confidential information.
