Job Description

Overview

Indiana University Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Telemetry Unit. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with cardiac diagnoses and step-down patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including heart failure and cardiac diagnoses
  • Participate in unit-based council and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
