We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at Teal Becker and Chiaramonte. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, management, and owners of privately held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, employee benefit plans, and individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Accounting and Auditing Services: Perform fieldwork procedures in accounting and auditing engagements, including client inquiry, analytics, and testing.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare federal and state income tax returns for corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
- Governmental Filings: Prepare any other governmental filings as necessary.
- Basic Accounting Functions: Perform basic accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Communication and Teamwork: Build strong communication skills with internal teams, management, and clients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field. Master's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- CPA Certification: Must be on the CPA career track with basic knowledge of accounting concepts and be eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
- Skills: Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills. Organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and a desire to learn.
- Integrity: Ability to handle confidential information and maintain the highest level of integrity.
- Client Contact: Ability to communicate effectively with client employees and members of a client's management.
- Technical Skills: Efficient knowledge of Excel and other accounting software.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
