We are seeking a dependable and skilled parts counter professional to manage the procurement, sales, storage, and distribution of automotive components within our dynamic dealership environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in parts ordering and inventory management, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills for effective customer and team interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Precisely identify required components to facilitate repairs in the service department.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source and order necessary parts.
  • Receive and verify parts for quality and accuracy upon delivery.
  • Ensure prompt distribution of parts to the service area in alignment with production timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records for all purchased and returned components.
  • Keep the parts storage area organized and tidy to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare estimates for repair orders based on parts and labor requirements.
  • Participate in daily production meetings to coordinate with the team.
  • Manage warranty part returns and process receipts and invoices using the All Data system.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2+ years of experience in automotive parts (experience with auto body parts is advantageous).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Effective negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED.
Compensation:

$19.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)
