Job Summary

Mirak Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join our team in Arlington, Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs
  • Repair and replace damaged body parts, such as fenders, doors, hoods, and bumpers
  • Perform frame and structural repairs using specialized tools and equipment
  • Perform body alignment and panel adjustment to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
  • Paint vehicles using spray guns and other equipment to match manufacturer specifications
  • Polish and buff painted surfaces for a smooth finish
  • Communicate with customers and provide updates on repair progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to safety protocols and follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Body Technician in a dealership or collision repair shop
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair and refinishing techniques and procedures
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Mirak Automotive Group offers a competitive salary ranging from $47,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
