Qualifications and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Navy submarine or comparable shipyard submarine maintenance.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat DC, and Word.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) team in compiling changes to the Unrestricted Operations Maintenance Requirement Card (URO MRC), generating redline mark-ups, and aiding in the quarterly publication of changes.
  • Conduct monitoring and initial compliance assessments of incoming URO MRC inspection reports, forwarding them to the SUBMEPP Administrative Services Division for processing.
  • Gather SUBMEPP product data, including current and past URO MRC revisions, Maintenance Standard (MS) and Test Procedure (TP) libraries, Feedback Reports, and relevant SUBSAFE technical manuals.
  • Provide quarterly compact discs (CDs), managing the generation, replication, and testing processes.

  • Ability to quickly learn and become adept with new or specialized technological tools relevant to the company or Government.
