Role Summary

Carroll Distributing and Construction is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the upkeep of our facilities and perform repairs on equipment used in our rebar fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems associated with large-scale industrial machinery, particularly those related to rebar processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance to guarantee the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose, repair, and enhance machinery to uphold workplace safety and production effectiveness.
  • Create parts lists and estimate labor time for maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Educate team members on new machinery and modifications to existing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Engage with management regarding equipment purchases and installations.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements
  • Willingness to travel within designated regions.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of rebar fabrication machinery and its components.
  • Training in electrical controls, welding, mobile crane operation, and rigging.
Special Considerations
  • Extended hours may be necessary.
  • Travel is a requirement.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations is essential.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
