Job Overview

Position Title: RN Health Care Facility Surveyor

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and improving the quality of care across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations of Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare establishments to assess adherence to federal standards.
  • Prepare for surveys through off-site research, facility tours, care observations, record examinations, and interviews with staff and families.
  • Analyze multiple dimensions of healthcare operations, focusing on care quality, patient rights, and facility conditions.
  • Communicate findings regarding non-compliance to relevant personnel during site reviews and exit discussions to ensure clarity on identified deficiencies.
  • Evaluate and approve corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Perform follow-up assessments to verify the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Facilitate training sessions for facilities and participate in collaborative workgroups as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and successful passage of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of recent experience in surveying or certifying long-term care facilities is essential.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions and effectively manage the survey process.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to navigate conflicts and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary of $75,000.
  • This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule.
