We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at New Britain General. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and patient safety.
- Support the daily coordination of care and ensure that operations in the department are in compliance with regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in providing service recovery and engage the multidisciplinary team to identify solutions for patient care situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience with 2 years of current Oncology nursing experience.
- Outpatient oncology experience required.
- Current CT RN license.
- BLS / RQI certification.
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card.
- OCN or other oncology board certification within 1 year of hire.
