Agile Project Facilitator

The ideal candidate for this position possesses 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience. The role of the Agile Project Facilitator is to maximize value delivery to clients. This individual will conduct daily stand-ups and assist the team in adhering to the Agile delivery framework.

The Agile Project Facilitator also undertakes conventional project management responsibilities, which include: defining project scope, managing staffing, communicating project status to stakeholders, overseeing budgets, and managing risks and issues. Furthermore, they often create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and participate in testing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support the team and product owner in transforming requirements into functional software. Monitor progress and assist the team in meeting their commitments.

· Daily progress is tracked, and when challenges arise, collaborate with the team to devise corrective measures.

· Manage and report on the status of project scope, schedule, resources, and financials.

· Extract and document project requirements.

· Create user stories and define acceptance criteria.

· Ensure that team members comprehend processes and assist them in adhering to these processes.

· Define and communicate product quality expectations across the team.

· Collaborate with the team in planning work, including defect resolution and code refactoring, while preventing the buildup of technical debt.

· Work alongside the technical team and product owner to balance interests when conflicts arise. Remove obstacles that hinder the team's focus on engineering tasks.

· Lead conflict resolution within the team, eliminating barriers to collaboration.

· Facilitate project team meetings, including sprint planning, daily scrums, and sprint reviews.

· Guide retrospective discussions and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

· Minimize external disruptions that the team must manage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree in information technology, business, or a related field. Exceptional interpersonal skills.

· Comfortable working with diverse groups and serving as a mediator during conflicts.

· Understanding of financial controls essential for project management and consulting work. Practical knowledge of scoping and estimating work.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

EXPERIENCE:

· Background in Project Management and/or serving as an Agile Project Facilitator.

· Experience managing multiple significant projects simultaneously.

· Previous experience as a Business Analyst and/or Tester is beneficial but not mandatory.

· Practical application of quality management tools and techniques.

· Optional Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
