Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of housekeeping activities to maintain the Center in an attractive and sanitary condition.
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, tubs, and showers, day rooms, offices, classrooms, public areas, laundry rooms, and nurses' stations.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including mops, brooms, vacuums, wall washing equipment, and high dusting equipment.
- Restock paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and liquid soap as needed.
- Monitor inventory of housekeeping chemicals and supplies and report to Supervisor.
- Work in a cooperative manner with coworkers, managers, clients, and prospective clients.
- Regular attendance and ability to work in a constant state of alertness to perform the job in a safe manner.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate with people and follow instructions.
- Ability to push carts, equipment, and supplies to all areas of the facility.
- Ability to lift trash and linen weighing from 25 to 35 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb.
- Ability to see at 20/40 corrected in each eye.
- Ability to walk within the facility approximately three (3) miles per 8-hour shift.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
