  • Engage in training programs to enhance product knowledge.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties in the cafe and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks to support product ordering.
  • Educate customers about specialty coffee and actively seek their feedback.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to advance our mission and values.
  • Contribute to the marketing initiatives for the cafe.
  • Manage the opening and closing procedures of the cafe in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in the hospitality or food service sector.
  • Previous experience in coffee service is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe food service environment meticulously.
  • Capacity to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation are essential.
  • Effective communication with both guests and team members is crucial.
  • Must obtain ServSafe certification within six months of employment.

This is a full-time position that aligns with the academic calendar. Employees receive uniforms and a non-slip shoe allowance, along with complimentary meals on scheduled workdays.
