Housekeeping Assistant

The Terrace at Beverly Lake A Memory Care Residence is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional housekeeping services to our residents, ensuring their living spaces are clean, comfortable, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and communicate with housekeeping and other team members to maintain a holistic perspective of service for each resident.
- Perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, folding, and delivery of linens.
- Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean and orderly manner.
- Notify management of maintenance needs and follow safe guidelines for chemical use.
- Present a professional demeanor, communicating the corporate philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in residents' unique needs, concerns, and complaints.
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds independently and more with assistance.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, moving of equipment, climbing, bending, and stooping.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders.
- Routinely performs duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Able to follow instructions, accept constructive criticism, and work harmoniously with others.
- Must know how to use common house cleaning devices, such as brooms, mops, floor waxers, and polishers.
- Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly populations.
