Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Thoroughly clean vacant apartments and prepare them for occupancy, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Housekeeping Services: Provide housekeeping services to residents, including laundry, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care, including communication and coordination with housekeeping and other departments.
  • Laundry and Linens: Sort, wash, fold, and deliver linens, ensuring they are clean and hygienic for residents.
  • Cart Maintenance: Maintain the housekeeping cart in a clean and organized manner, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
  • Maintenance Notification: Notify management of any maintenance needs, ensuring prompt attention to resident concerns.
  • Chemical Safety: Follow safe guidelines for the use of chemicals, and be familiar with emergency procedures in case of misuse.
  • Professional Demeanor: Present a professional demeanor that communicates the company's philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in residents' unique needs, concerns, and complaints.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Able to safely lift 50 pounds independently and more with assistance, stand and walk for long periods, and perform frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, moving of equipment, climbing, bending, and stooping.
  • Visual Acuity: Requires visual acuity and the ability to interpret requests from residents and staff.
  • Stair and Ladder Climbing: Able to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Safe Work Practices: Routinely perform duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Communication Skills: Able to follow instructions, accept constructive criticism, and work harmoniously with others.
  • Housekeeping Skills: Familiarity with common house cleaning devices, such as brooms, mops, floor waxers, and polishers.
  • Elderly Population: Familiarity and willingness to work with an elderly population.
