Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to meet established standards of cleanliness and propriety.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Ensure that all rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve our housekeeping goals and objectives
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the hotel positively

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform all required cleaning duties
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness to ensure room cleanliness standards are maintained
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

  • $18.63 to $20.03 per hour, depending on experience

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours and physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. The employee must be able to walk, stand, bend, climb, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, push, pull, reach, grasp, and see.
