We are currently seeking a skilled Mortgage Surveillance Portfolio Manager to oversee a designated portfolio of mortgage loans, ensuring alignment with the objectives set forth by our investors.

The Mortgage Portfolio Manager will be tasked with conducting thorough loan-level assessments and managing operational activities that arise from missed deadlines. These assessments will yield detailed insights into loan statuses, including strategic recommendations and projected timelines for resolution.

In instances where potential delays or issues are detected during the review process, the Mortgage Portfolio Manager will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address the concerns or escalate them if they pose a significant risk to the overall portfolio.

All mitigation strategies, ranging from Modifications to Foreclosure Bids, will be underwritten by the Mortgage Portfolio Manager.

This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of mortgage servicing, particularly in areas such as Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure, along with a solid grasp of contested and litigated foreclosures.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in default mortgage management
  • Familiarity with FiServ/MortgageServ, Black Knight|LoanSphere, and/or TEMPO
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements
  • Dedication to achieving optimal client outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify trends or violations of investor guidelines and report them accordingly
  • In-depth knowledge of subprime mortgage loans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
