Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Supervisor to join our Eversource Facilities team in New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and other specialized building systems for our corporate buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, supervise, and provide technical direction to unionized and non-unionized employees and third-party contractors in duties related to facility systems.
  • Track utility costs and manage energy consumption through energy management systems and identified energy efficiency projects.
  • Meet with suppliers and contractors to determine cost-effective products and services.
  • Analyze purchase quotations and make recommendations for material and contractor services.
  • Initiate purchase orders to obtain services.
  • Recommend action on emergencies such as storms, equipment failures, and security breaches.
  • Assist in departmental training, on-the-job training, and safety training.
  • Represent the department in grievance meetings and supply data needed to administer union contracts.
  • Develop and administer buildings-related programs such as fire, bomb threats, and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and legislation.
  • Foster a productive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Commercial/industrial electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems knowledge.
  • INet environmental control system familiarity.
  • NFPA Life Safety Code and BOCA Building Code knowledge.
  • Large commercial/industrial boiler and chiller systems experience.
  • Energy management systems expertise.
  • Data Center operations knowledge.
  • Hazardous and regulated materials knowledge.
  • Building construction practices and principles understanding.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Business acumen and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to new situations.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of education and experience.
  • 5-10 years related experience and supervisory experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $108,220.00 to $120,240.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience.
