Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage the work of subordinate employees, including planning, assigning, and evaluating work priorities and schedules.
- Provide guidance, advice, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
- Evaluate the performance of employees and recommend performance ratings.
- Identify developmental and training needs of employees and provide or arrange for needed development and training.
- Improve production or increase the quality of work directed.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50.
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- Candidates must show specialized experience.
- Specialized experience is defined as:
- Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year (52 weeks);
- Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATS facility;
- Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.
- Candidates will be evaluated on four Managerial Selection Factors and Selection Factor 5.
