Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Helio Health. As a key member of our inpatient program, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our patients with mental health issues and chemical addictions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with counseling responsibilities, including screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, patient education, case management, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Participate in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
  • Represent the agency to the community.
  • Perform quality assurance activities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Customer service and/or human services experience preferred.
  • Valid NYS Drivers License, based on service settings.
