Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Consultant to join our team. As a Data Consultant, you will be responsible for developing complex reports and analyzing company data, including corporate or client-specific data. You will serve as a technical resource for company staff on data analysis and benchmarking issues, meet with clients as necessary, provide training and data analysis education for program staff, and provide technical oversight and guidance to client-dedicated analysts located in multiple field offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive, complex, and accurate information reports.
  • Create complex data reports and provide analysis for forecasting and/or benchmarking used by senior management.
  • Report directly to senior management, communicate data findings for forecasting and client needs.
  • Obtain, analyze, and provide appropriate feedback on company or client-specific information needs.
  • Provide complex data analysis functions to meet client-specific, program, or company senior management needs.
  • Serve as a resource for colleagues on data analysis and benchmarking issues.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to client-dedicated analysts located in multiple field offices.
  • Provide training and data analysis education for colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college or university preferred. Computer Science courses preferred.
  • Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in an insurance-related field and one (1) year of statistical analysis strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of risk management information systems, including utilization and functionality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
