About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Director to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the health and wellness of our residents. With a focus on quality care and exceptional service, you will ensure that our residents receive the best possible care in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with experience in leading teams and implementing care programs. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing Health and Wellness: Provide strategic leadership for resident care, manage the nursing team, and promote the health and wellness of the resident population.
  • Medication Management: Oversee the community medication management program, promote resident safety in the medication use process, and provide clinical training and education to nurses and medication care managers.
  • Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Track, trend, and report clinical quality data, lead clinical quality and process improvement initiatives, and assure compliance with all Federal, State/Provincial, board of nursing and other applicable regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing or a related field, with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • A minimum of two years RN experience, with at least one year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment.
  • A minimum of one year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling and daily operations supervision.
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, retirement savings plans, employee assistant program / discount program, paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay. We also offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses based on individual performance and company goals.
