About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner. As a LPN Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and initializing daily medication logs, administering medications, and conducting SHUs (Service and Health Updates). You will also provide resident care while adhering to Sunrise's Principles of Service.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
- Review and initialize daily medication logs.
- Conduct SHUs (Service and Health Updates).
- Provide resident care while adhering to Sunrise's Principles of Service.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Report any resident concerns or issues to the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Certifications as required by state/province
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with seniors preferred
