Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in post-acute facilities
  • Monitor patients' physical and mental conditions, tracking vital signs and documenting medical histories
  • Administer medications, track their use and effects, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Cultivate a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Assist with the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Manage medical supplies and maintain a proper inventory
  • Adhere to patient care plans and work collaboratively with staff to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience as an LPN or in a similar role
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
