About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Plymouth Meeting Family Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.

Requirements:
  • A current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification and the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements:
  • The ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
