GBCC/Oasis Behavioral Health is a leading mental health provider in Maryland, offering comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services in the mid-Atlantic region. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our Intake Team.

About the Role

This full-time position requires an 8-hour shift, with weekly evening shifts and monthly Saturday shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and screening intakes, verifying insurance, and managing waitlists for various locations/specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and screening intakes according to insurance, provider availability, and specialty
  • Verifying insurance for new patients
  • Distributing and responding to messages received via patient portal
  • Collecting copays at the window or over the phone
  • Managing waitlists for various locations/specialties
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year clerical/office work required
  • Willingness to train and learn each day
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent at working with a variety of clientele
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
