Maintenance Logistics Specialist

At Cedar Point, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, purchasing, receiving, and budget tracking based on best practices and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the process of gathering currently held inventory to add to Maintenance Connect, implement an inventory tracking process to ensure supplies are charged to the correct departments.
  • Purchasing and Receiving: Work with Maintenance Admin and departments to streamline the requisition and ordering process, track and receive orders from vendors to ensure accuracy of packing list and original order.
  • Cost Analysis: Research cost of supplies to ensure Cedar Point receives the best available pricing and find ways to reduce cost and maintain quality of supplies.
  • Budget Tracking: Support division and department leadership with budget tracking by creating complex spreadsheets to deliver easy-to-read and understand information to the end user and ensure company financial targets are met and any overages are accurately accounted for and justified.
  • Vendor Management: Investigate and pursue resolution for vendor product and service issues when requested.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail, advanced in MS Office Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law, and pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older.
