About the Role

The Product Lifecycle Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the swift time-to-market for new and revised products by developing, monitoring, and enforcing a reliable, transparent, and efficient supply chain plan. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively evaluate, coordinate, and expedite executable solutions to deliver superior results through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control the progress of the supply chain plan, attending and organizing relevant meetings and reviews to realize the plan.
  • Determine the supply chain consequences of proposed plan changes and related actions on project and program levels, reporting progress and discrepancies to Project Leaders.
  • Plan and report on the timely availability of Technical Product Documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and administer the material flow for critical, non-volume materials (parts, prototypes, spares, tools, and packaging) in cooperation with Procurement and Material Ordering.
  • Manage delivery schedules of prototype materials, including order release, confirmation, and expediting.
  • Initiate and coordinate activities of Logistics, Procurement, and Engineering groups to resolve late prototype deliveries.
  • Create a stable, regular environment for all parts by defining logistic parameter settings in the ERP-system to transfer parts to Material Ordering (buys) and Production Planning (makes).
  • Provide logistic input for Engineering Change Requests from development and determine necessary actions, challenging the project team to minimize the impact of changes on the Supply Chain, Factory, or Field.
  • Ensure the logistic introduction of engineering changes on project levels, communicating the consequences of the changes and appointing actions to parties involved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 2 years of experience in planning and logistics processes.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in new product introduction.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Knowledge/hands-on experience with SAP/ERP, Oracle/Agile.
  • Excel proficiency with data entry, formulas/functions, data visualization, pivot tables. Macros or VBA programming is a plus.

Additional Information

This position requires onsite presence in San Diego, CA, to attend in-person work-related events, trainings, and meetings, ensuring teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.

A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).

Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
