We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Academic Radiation Oncologist to join our team at the University of California - San Francisco. As a member of our faculty, you will play a key role in managing patients with gastrointestinal cancers and contributing to our clinical research program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and management of gastrointestinal cancer patients
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical trials and research studies
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Radiation Oncology
- Participate in continuing medical education efforts and contribute to the development of educational courses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Surgeons, Radiologists, and Gastroenterologists
- ABR board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Qualify for medical licensure and X-ray supervisor licensure in the state of California
- Completed ACGME Residency Training in Radiation Oncology or expected to complete training by July 2024
- Demonstrated interest in clinical practice, academic pursuits, and teaching
- 20% protected time for academic pursuits
- 80% dedicated to clinical duties
