Breast Medical Oncology Faculty Position
Job Summary:The University of California, San Francisco is seeking a highly qualified clinical faculty member to join the Breast Medical Oncology Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding patient care, conducting clinical research, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care in the Breast Medical Oncology program, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to the clinical research efforts of the program, including leading/serving as a Principal Investigator on clinical trials, developing research projects, and enrolling patients in ongoing trials.
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows who rotate through the Breast Medical Oncology clinic.
- Work closely with colleagues in other cancer subspecialties and attend multidisciplinary tumor board conferences.
- MD or DO degree and ABIM certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
- Commitment to patient care and a track record of clinical excellence and experience in the treatment and management of patients with breast cancer.
- Desirable: a track record of breast cancer research (clinical, translational, and/or basic science).
