Position Overview:

In the role of Branch Sales Associate, you will engage with walk-in customers, offering solutions through your expertise, knowledge, and positive demeanor.

Your focus will be on maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and surpassing customer expectations. Throughout your day, you will alternate between assisting customers and executing various warehouse responsibilities. You will report directly to the Store Manager.

Compensation Structure:
This is an hourly position, with a starting wage of $19.50. The provided range serves as a guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation.

Factors influencing offer decisions include, but are not limited to:
a candidate's experience, qualifications, geographical area, and internal team equity.

Your Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete customer experience, including proper product selection, precise order entry, safe product handling, and loading customer vehicles.

Identify opportunities to enhance sales and promote customer loyalty.
Adjust communication style to suit various audiences, whether in person, via phone, or through email.
Prepare and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
Manage customer backorders and organize incoming stock.
Assist with merchandising and showroom restocking.
Conduct inventory counts.
Become proficient in navigating different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
Maintain cleanliness to ensure the branch meets Grainger's standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all operational standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Your Qualifications:
Flexibility to work within branch operational hours.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance.
Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
