About the Team

Our Enterprise Platforms Technology team plays a critical role in establishing best practices for building technology solutions across the company. We deliver capabilities that exemplify those practices and spearhead strategic initiatives to enhance various aspects of our Delivery Experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Technical Program Management to lead complex technical projects, align cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions. As a TPM Director, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, leverage your expertise in program management and technical acumen to drive transformative initiatives that propel Capital One's delivery capabilities forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee complex technical projects and ensure successful delivery of solutions
  • Align cross-functional teams and drive transformative initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business outcomes
  • Develop and implement program management strategies to enhance Delivery Experience
  • Lead high-impact projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience managing technical programs
  • Strong technical background with ability to identify and mitigate technical risks
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills
  • Quantitative approach to problem-solving and collaborative implementation
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
  • 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture
  • 3+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
  • 3+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs
