Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Department Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective receiving and merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to TJ Maxx's high standards
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates to prioritize tasks and address any issues
  • Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs to minimize losses
  • Support and promote credit and loyalty programs to drive customer loyalty
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
