Key Responsibilities- Delivering nursing care to residents in post-acute care settings
- Assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and grooming
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to supervisory staff
- Serving meals and assisting residents with dining as required
- Observing residents and communicating any concerns to nursing staff
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in residents' living spaces
- Facilitating communication between healthcare staff and residents, as well as with family members
- Assisting with the mobility of residents, including transfers and repositioning
- Providing companionship and emotional support to residents
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care practices
- Strong organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
