We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an FCS Program Development and Coordination Specialist.

Job Description

As a member of our district professionals team, you will provide leadership and education to county FCS educators and constituents. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate FCS programming by developing and implementing statewide programs that complement current initiatives at the state and district levels.

  • Work closely with the Assistant Director and Family and Consumer Sciences program leader to achieve program goals
  • Collaborate with field and state staff to promote effective interaction and identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide staff development in organizational development, management, needs assessment, and program development in Family and Consumer Sciences
  • Develop new program ideas and inspire others to more effective performance through creative strategies

You will also be responsible for increasing awareness of family and consumer sciences by maintaining contacts with professional organizations and agencies. Additionally, you will lead and collaborate with county, district, and state staff in the procurement of grant projects that contribute to individual and coordinated county extension programs.
