Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Cleaning and Maintenance Associates to contribute to our mission. This role is ideal for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and exercise equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensure the entrance and lobby areas are welcoming and presentable.
- Oversee the cleanliness of locker rooms and replenish necessary supplies.
- Organize and maintain storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
- Ensure an adequate supply of towels is available on the exercise floor.
- Perform maintenance on all equipment, utilizing it correctly and efficiently.
- Receive and manage deliveries appropriately.
- Assist with special events as needed.
- Notify management of any urgent maintenance requirements.
- Provide outstanding service to all members and guests.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle athletic equipment and familiarity with cleaning products and tools.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
Must be capable of performing all essential physical tasks associated with the role, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
