Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult patients, working within a critical care-focused and protocol-driven RT team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage adults with complex respiratory conditions in Adult ICUs, Cardiac Critical Care Unit, Intermediate Care Unit, and General Medical Floors.
  • Ensure high standards of respiratory therapy are maintained in a Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department.
  • Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation.
  • Float to other trained units as required.

Requirements:

  • Critical care experience, including airway and ventilator management.
  • Experience with ABG puncture and analysis.
  • Non-invasive ventilation expertise.
  • Code blue and rapid response experience.
  • Inhaled medication administration skills.
  • Familiarity with Servo U, Servo I, Hamilton T1, Trilogy, V60, V30, EV300 ventilators.
