Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to contribute to the success of our culinary operations. This role involves overseeing various aspects of food preparation and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of diverse menu items.
  • Coordinate the preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality food service.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams.
  • Manage cost controls and monitor expenditures effectively.
  • Support the training and development of kitchen staff to enhance their skills.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in various food service environments such as restaurants, corporate dining, or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry trends.
  • Proficient in managing kitchen operations and leading a team.
  • Preferred: ServSafe or Department of Health Certification.
