About Good-2-Go Oregon: We are a leading community support organization dedicated to assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our focus is on high-functioning individuals who require some level of support.

Independent Living Services (ILS): Our department is committed to equipping clients with essential skills for independent living. These skills encompass both practical abilities, such as meal preparation, and interpersonal skills, including social interaction. This program is strictly hands-off and does not involve personal care tasks.

Role Responsibilities:

The Life Skills Coach position is dynamic and emphasizes relationship building and problem-solving. Coaches provide in-home support aimed at teaching vital life skills. Typical responsibilities include:

• Listening and providing emotional support
• Assisting clients with household activities
• Accompanying clients in community settings (e.g., shopping)
• Offering cognitive and emotional assistance as needed

Candidate Profile:

We seek a compassionate, dedicated, and patient individual to provide services. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication abilities, conflict resolution skills, and maintain professional boundaries. While training is provided post-hire, experience with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Willingness to obtain First-Aid/CPR certification
• Access to a reliable and insured vehicle for service delivery (travel/mileage reimbursement available)

Compensation Package:

• Starting rate of $18.00/hr
• Paid time off (available for part-time staff)

Additional Information:
