Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our team at AppleOne. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile invoices, credit card bills, and vendor statements
  • Research and resolve AP/AR issues with vendors
  • Audit and verify incoming invoices
  • Obtain approvals prior to processing payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and track outstanding balances
  • Respond to vendor payment inquiries
  • Process 3-way PO invoices
  • Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and account files
  • Print and obtain signatures for checks
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Data entry of AP and AR items
  • Assist with AR cash application processes
  • Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of AP experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • 3-way matching
  • Working knowledge of general ledger systems and procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills
