Laramie County Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Sociology courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching assigned classes, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning.
Responsibilities- Teach Sociology courses to students with varying skill levels and backgrounds.
- Develop and maintain curriculum that is current, effective, and aligned with program competencies.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to students.
- Utilize varied learning activities to maximize student engagement and success.
- Employ relevant teaching tools, strategies, and classroom technologies.
- Masters degree in Sociology or related field.
- 18 graduate credits in Sociology.
- Experience with web-based learning management systems.
- Two or more years of college-level teaching experience.
The successful candidate will be required to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed. The position is part-time, non-benefitted, and employed on a course-by-course basis.
