Adjunct Instructor, WHP

Laramie County Community College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching assigned courses, being available for students, and collaborating on departmental objectives when applicable.

• Teach assigned classes as per course syllabus and schedule and meet required contact hours, unless permission to deviate has been approved by appropriate supervisor to accommodate student need
• Teach classes according to the approved Master Course Outline of Record (MCOR) and provide a current course syllabus for each course taught to the appropriate supervisor
• Conduct a fair evaluation of students performance applied equally to all

• Masters degree in Criminal Justice or one of the following subject areas Administration of Justice, Business Administration with demonstrated Law Enforcement competency/training, Criminology, Law, Law Enforcement/Corrections or Corrections-related field and 18 graduate credits in related field -OR- Juris Doctorate

• Doctoral degree in academic field from a regionally accredited institution
• One year of experience with web-based learning management systems
• Two or more years of college-level teaching experience
