We are seeking a highly skilled Education and Behavioral Specialist to join our team in a top-rated school district in New Bedford, Massachusetts. As an Education and Behavioral Specialist, you will work with students of all ages, providing counseling services and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) to support their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths
  • Develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans to support students' educational and behavioral goals
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
  • State Certification and/or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a School Setting is Preferred
  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
